The Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-20 10 Finally, my brethren,
be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles (schemes) of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world (age), against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take up
the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. 14 Stand therefore,
having girded your waist with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation
of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts
of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the hidden truth
of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in chains: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. God

The peace of God
Have you been
struggling lately? I have, in fact, we all do. It doesn’t really seem to matter
what it is that gets us down, whatever it is, it works. Sometimes it isn’t really the action, but
rather the consequence of the action that gets us down. Take for instance a sin that someone struggles
with. Is it the temptation, or the falling into the temptation that really gets us down, or is it both,
the struggle and the eventual succumbing too the temptation? Maybe it’s the fear that comes along
with the falling to the temptation, the thought that God is going to be so mad, torment us, or even reject us of salvation.
Well I’ve got news; God already knows when you and I are going to fall to our temptations. He still loves us,
He still wants to comfort us, and He never expects us to be perfect. So many people I have talked to over
the years think being a Christian is living the perfect life, and suffering the consequences when we don’t.
This is simply not true, we can never be perfect in anything we do, we are man, and man is sinful by nature.
What
makes a Christian different is the knowledge that we are imperfect and when we fall into the temptations of sin we seek the
strength of God to overcome our sin, we seek the love of God to comfort us during the healing process, and we cling to the
truth that God will wash these sins away through the power of the blood that His own Son spilt on the cross. We are not to
live in a spirit of fear, no matter what the fear is brought on by. We are to cry out to God, Abba Father,
the blood of Jesus Christ has adopted us, there is no fear in this love, and God’s perfect love casts out all fear.
God doesn’t torment His children with fear (1 John 4:18); torment comes from the devil, the great accuser. Jesus
says in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give
I unto. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. When we fall the Lord will chastise our spirit to let us know that sin is present, but when fear sets in recognize
the fear for what it is and reject it. Seek the strength of God, repent and move on. Don’t
live a life in fear, God loves us too much, and most of all remember, we will never be perfect, we will fall, and we are always
loved by our Father. God Bless! Daniel Eggers Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep (guard) your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.

God is my witness...
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always
in my prayers. Romans 1:9
Try praying for someone that you haven't prayed for in awhile.
Intercede for a friend, a loved one, or a spouse. Prayer is so very powerful. We never know who is praying
for us. I am a living testament that prayer works. Love someone without telling them this week by praying
for them. God Bless! Daniel Eggers
