An Unholy Vision : Obama's Trip to Israel
| thurs, february 21, 2013 |
Israel and the Obama
administration will begin to strain ties, the ties will come to a breaking point. The pride of the Obama administration will
be the cause of the split and the trigger for America's fall. She (Israel) will act without the consent of the Obama administration,
thus causing the prideful administration to cut her off. She (America) will have lost her saving grace; she will be now as
another nation who curses the apple of God's eye. This will be the beginning of her tragic collapse. Above is an excerpt from a post
I put up on February 5, 2009. On the morning of February 5, 2013, I felt to repost Collapse, Destruction, and our Back Against Israel, along with a brief statement regarding some concerns I had about future dates. I closed with the following: I am going to be paying close
attention to the weeks leading to mid-March as a period of escalation between Israel and her enemies to the north, including
Iran. I cannot fully explain my reasons, but I have been led to pay close attention to the period between March 11, and the
end of May, as I believe this period may contain key prophetic events connected to Israel and the coming destruction of Babylon
Megala "the great." Later that afternoon on February 5th, the White House announced that President Obama would make his first
trip to Israel since he was elected President in 2008, and sworn into office January of 2009. The White House has since confirmed
the trip is set for March 20th; exactly 50-months to the day Obama was ceremoniously sworn into office January 20, 2009. The
significance of this date rest squarely on the fact that sundown March 20th is the start of Nisan 10, the day in which the
Korban Pesach or "Passover Lamb" is selected. On the tenth of this month (i.e., Nisan) each of them shall take
a lamb to a family, a lamb to a household. (Exodus 12:3) It was on the 10th day of Nisan, four days before the start of Passover
that Jesus Christ made his Triumphal Entry. Just as the sebeh "lamb" is examined for four days before the
Pesach sacrifice, Seh haElohim or the "Lamb of God" was also examined four days at the
hands of iniquitous men. Despite the absences of fault, blemish, and iniquity, Yeshua was sacrificed for the sins of mankind,
thus the Korban Pesach for all humanity. Praise the LORD He rose victoriously on the third day. Observing the historical backdrop
of Nisan 10 would seem sufficient justification to pay special attention to the president's upcoming visit to Israel, the
first of which Obama has made since taking office in 2009. Timing is certainly important, some would say everything,
though it is not simply the timing of this trip that should stir the spirit, rather the equally important obligation to discern
the message and intentions behind the revival of an unholy vision he will undoubtedly present while in the land of Israel
days before the observance of Passover. Only hours after the White House announcement was made, details of the upcoming trip quickly surfaced. US Ambassador
to Israel, Dan Shapiro, declared that Obama would bring an "urgent peace agenda" on his upcoming visit
to Israel as well as discuss other regional issues, such as Syria and Iran. Netanyahu has since confirmed the visit and outlined
the three major talking points he will discuss with Obama, specifically the situation in Syria, the Iranian nuclear program,
and lastly the peace process. Though it has been reported that Obama will bring no new peace proposals, he doesn't need to, it is clear that two
of the main focal points of the first presidential visit to Israel will be focused on rekindling the peace process
flame that has almost all but flickered out under his watch, as well as urge or "pressure" Netanyahu to
refrain from any Israeli preemptive strike on Iran, issues Obama has personally tied together. Throughout the entirety of the "Peace Process"
era, every leader associated with the various attempts to divide haaretz Yisrael, "the land of Israel,"
has paid in some form or another. Some have paid with their political careers ending in scandal like Bill Clinton and Ehud
Olmert. Some have lost the confidence of the electorate, like George Bush Sr. and Jr., as well as Ehud Barak. While others
have even paid physically, like Ariel Sharon, who remains in a vegetative state from a stroke suffered just months after his
order of the Gaza Expulsion and Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated after signing the Oslo Accords. The attempt to divide the land of Israel is no light burden, but
a burden with the power to crush all who attempt to undertake it. Nations have been punished, leaders have been punished,
and yes, historically speaking, nations and leaders who have conquered Israel eventually met their own destruction. I make
Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people
of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:3 In late March, as Obama sets foot upon the red-carpet slashed tarmac of
Ben Gurion International Airport, in Tel Aviv, he will have shifted from his 50-month modus operandi of dealing with Israel.
Upon setting foot in Israel, Obama's vision and administrative position on the various issues facing Israel will generate
the highest level of US power fixed to a level of lucidity not captured in the communiqué of a hastily dispatched diplomat;
rather the messenger in this case is not merely the messenger but the absolute enforcer of the message being delivered. The
whole of Israel recognizes this and would be remiss to ignore the significance of such a trip, at such a time, a time associated
with betrayal, trial, tribulation, and the preparation of a sacrifice. Since taking office in 2009, Obama's term, like the "peace
talk" presidents before him, has been plagued throughout with various divine weapons of indignation or
judgments that often appear to be linked to the intense pressure and oft repeated calls leveled at the Israeli government
to stop "settlement expansion" and negotiate with the Palestinians, a move that if implemented would ultimately
leave the land of Israel and Jerusalem indefensible and divided.
Some
would say that Obama's approach to the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations varies little from his predecessors, though unlike
previous administrations, various actions and inactions have summoned increasingly credible suspicions that Obama's willingness
to support Israel's sovereign right to defend, or more specifically preemptively defend itself from the specter of
an Iranian nuclear weapon appears to be intricately and equally connected to Israel's willingness to make painful
steps towards the creation of a Palestinian state, a state the Obama administration has termed as "inevitable."
The
following is a meager overview of various actions and reactions that have taken place during the period of time compressed
in Obama's first and second years in office. I realize that numerous state of affairs have shed light on the tempestuous relationship
between the Obama administration and the Netanyahu-led government over the past four years, but I believe it is the first
two years of Obama's presidency that offers some of the best study for understanding his Palestinian approach towards
the peace process and the land of Israel in general. This post is by no means extensive, though I feel it still facilitates
the proper concern I wish to project for being strictly aware of the probable indictment of judgment associated with President
Obama's upcoming visit to Israel at which time he will present his "urgent peace agenda." First, only YHVH knows if Obama
will even make the trip, being that it is still future and all sorts of things could force a delay or cancel the trip altogether.
With that in mind, the purpose of this post is to once again draw awareness to the dangers inherent within and connected to
the US-led "peace process" as well as draw attention to key events that have taken place that shed light
into Obama's ideology towards the land of Israel.
It was mid April of 2009,
that the Obama administration informed Netanyahu's newly formed government, per his envoy George Mitchell, that he had opted
to assemble his peace agenda upon the foundation of another peace plan initiated by Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Arabian plan would demand that Israel withdraw to the
pre-1967 war lines, i.e. evacuation from the West Bank, Golan Heights and East Jerusalem for the purpose of creating a state
of Palestine. Such lines are also known as the 1948 armistice lines. The Saudi proposal states that only upon the complete
withdraw of Israeli forces and citizens from these territories would the Arab world then in turn recognize Israel as a sovereign
state. It
has been this very approach that has fueled the Obama administration's peace operative. This grievous ideology would later
collide with reality on May 20, 2011, as Netanyahu met with Obama in the Oval Office to discuss the peace process and the
realities on the ground. Instead of taking the "patently immoral" low road of avoiding a public confrontation
with Obama, Netanyahu felt very strongly he had to say the truth to the world, in front of Obama, even if it meant cooler
relations between the two leaders. With cameras rolling, Netanyahu began an impassioned six and half-minute clarification, or as others termed it,
"lecture," on Israel's realistically fragile position within the difficult Middle Eastern world, a world in
which every nations desires the destruction of Israel and how much more difficult, if not impossible it would be for the Jewish
State to survive if made to return to indefensible borders next to yet another militarized state sworn to the destruction
of Israel.
As the last words left
Netanyahu's lips, it was apparent Obama did not like the Israeli prime ministers demonstration of "the principle
of resistance to subjugation." This wasn't the first US president Netanyahu found himself attempting to retrieve to reality.
During Netanyahu's first term as prime minister in the 90's, a similar discussion was held with former president Bill Clinton.
After the discourse between the two men, an enraged Clinton shot at an aide, "Who the **** does he think he is? Who's
the ******* superpower here?" Currently, just as it was in April 2009, shortly after Benjamin Netanyahu
was sworn into office, the Obama administration made a concerted effort to revive the stalled "peace talks."
Now in 2013, Obama is looking to make the same move, establishing at the onset of the freshly elected government in Israel,
led once again by Benjamin Netanyahu, that peace with the Palestinians is an issue that must be dealt with. Could the current push for peace
and pressure being placed upon the newly elected government in Israel be attached to the support Israel has sought for and
been assured it would receive from the Obama administration with regard to the Iranian nuclear program? In the infant stages of the Obama
administration's push for peace in early 2009, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton revealed the leverage behind the peace agenda
when she came before the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee on April 23. "For Israel to get the kind of strong support it is looking
for vis-à-vis Iran, it can't stay on the sidelines with respect to the Palestinians and the peace efforts. They go
hand in hand." Four years later and Iran is believed to be months away from a bomb. Could this be why the Obama administration has yet to act in a
preemptive fashion against the Iranian nuclear program, seeing that Israel has yet to divide her land? Will Obama continue
to hold to the belief that the two issues are hand in hand? "On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people
-Muslims and Christians - have suffered in the pursuit of a homeland. For more than 60-years they've endured the pain of dislocation.
Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never
been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations - large and small - that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt:
The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. And America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian
aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own. (BHO - Cairo Speech June 4, 2009)
It would seem that Obama
links each minute "suffered" by the Palestinians under Israeli "occupation" as a minute
lost in preventing Iran from moving closer to nuclear midnight, and for each day the Palestinians are subjected to the "daily
humiliations" of occupation, is yet another day the Israelis themselves must be subjected to the uncertainties of
their own "peace and security" as the nightmarish vision of Iran acquiring an atom bomb becomes "inevitable"
if not stopped. Could the balance of Obama's perspective between the two issues rest upon a simple fulcrum: the longer Israel
takes to create a Palestinian State, the closer Israel comes to losing their own? These are questions that I ask
myself as I attempt to understand the Obama administration position on haeretz Yisrael. On May 20th, 2009, I was led to post the following, Soon, on June 4th, our current
leader will make an address to the Muslim world from Cairo, Egypt. From this city he will lay out his peace incentive for
the nation of Israel. His words, the state of his heart, and intentions found in both will be enough to tear America in two.
He has been warned, even some of the House and Senate have asked him in letters not to turn his back against Israel, but he
will not heed, just as pharaoh, his heart bas been hardened. Later on June 4, Obama addressed the Muslim world from Cairo. In his speech
he stated the following: "Too many tears have flowed. Too much blood has been shed. All of us have a responsibility to work for the day
when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of three great
faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians
and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra, when Moses,
Jesus, and Mohammed (peace be upon them) joined in prayer." Obama also stated, "That is why I intend to
personally pursue this outcome..." While in the region, Obama failed to stop in Israel, though he extended
his hand to Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Once back in Washington, D.C., on June 8, he was pictured talking to Netanyahu with his
feet on the desk, revealing the soles of his shoes, an insult in the Middle East. The following day, June 9th, a 70-year old
tree was struck down on the White House lawn. I have written about this tree and the one that fell exactly 3-prophetic years
(1080 days) prior on June 25, 2006, the same day Israeli soldier Gilad
Shalit was captured in other posts.
What
if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted
to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared
unto glory, even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? Romans 9:22-24 I still believe as I did in early
2009, that Obama is being used as an object of wrath, as described in Romans chapter 9 verses 22 through 24. That his presidency
will bring about a period of trial and tribulation, at which point seemed to begin around his Cairo speech and confirmed by
the felling of the 70-year old Linden tree five days later. It appeared that with great patience the LORD would make HIS
power known through this administration. It is interesting to me that it will be during a time of trial that Obama will
make his up and coming visit to Israel. On June 18, 2009, I stated the following in the post The Object of His Wrath, "It seems that GOD is patiently
allowing the current situation we are in to build to the point of HIS coming wrath. The current path of destruction our nation
is locked in, along with our current president, one object of GOD's wrath, is coming to the breaking point. JEHOVAH's ears
have not been deaf to the millions of babies murdered, the homosexual agenda, the field of genetic and trans-humanism, and
what JEHOVAH has most certainly not been blind to is the way our current leader has helped pave the way for the further advancement
of such things. Promoting what is evil as good and being proud of it." Looking back over the past four years reveals an exponential increase
in immorality within this nation. Never before have so many voices of innocent blood screamed louder, nor the chants for homosexuality
to be protected as ethical more unified. On August 25, 2009, I posted The Vision: The Trigger. In it I shared a brief
vision that I continued to see play over in my mind during the early part of 2009. In it was a man standing on the edge of a cliff. I could not tell
who the man was, but I knew it represented the United States of America. Behind the man was an immeasurable mountain that
looked to be made of mud, rotting flesh, and miscellaneous garbage. I understood this mountain to represent the wages of gross
iniquity, sins that had yet to be placed under the blood of Jesus Christ. Before the man was an abyss, a bottomless pit from
which there would be no return. At first I could not see what was keeping the man from falling into the pit as the mountain
of debt and iniquity was pushing against the person on the edge. I then saw the word ISRAEL in front of the man. I later understood
it to be connected to the blessing of Israel and that the man would one day fall into the pit due to the cursing and betrayal
of Israel.
As I have stated before,
blessing Israel is not a blank check, but an active pursuit of supporting and yearning for the eventual fulfillment the plan
YAHWEH has detailed in Scripture for Israel. To curse Israel is to pursue something other than the plan YAHWEH has presented
in HIS Word for the nation of Israel. Thus, the attempt to divide the land of Israel for the purpose of creating a Palestinian
State is a curse, because YAHWEH has declared the land will be whole. Yeshua HaMashiach will fulfill the Abrahamic Land Covenant
during HIS rule and reign. It is this belief and understanding that has caused me to observe the current administration's objective towards
the division of the land of Israel with great concern. On August 3, 2009, a strong 6.9 earthquake shook Baja California, the same day President
Obama met with Kuwait's emir Shaykh Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, and Secretary of State Clinton met with the Jordanian Foreign
Minister Nassar Judeh, at the White House. Both men had come with the same message: they wanted the Obama administration to
place the onus or burden of proof on Israel to start the stalled peace process. Shortly after, Louisville KY, and Cape Girardeau
MO, experienced flooding that hadn't been experienced in at least 30 to 40 years. A few weeks later on August 18, 2009, President Obama met with
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The main topic of discussion was the stalled peace negotiations. On the same day, over 500
trees were blown down in a micro burst over Central Park. Ironically, President Obama declared Mubarak as a strong ally in
the Middle East region; in fact, some even wondered if Obama saw Mubarak and Egypt as a closer ally than Netanyahu and Israel.
Yet in just 2-years, it would be Obama that would demand Mubarak step down from his seat of power. Many across the region
felt that Obama had betrayed Mubarak, with some reports even declaring that King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia was enraged by Obama's
actions. Not quite a month later on September 3, 2009, a glimpse of the straining ties were again revealed when a US official
spoke to Politico under the condition of anonymity, that Netanyahu was approaching a "moment of truth."
The official went on to state "Netanyahu's at a pivotal moment. Depending on what he decides, he could wind up with
a very strong relationship with President Obama and potentially become a historic figure in Israel. It could very well hinge
on what he decides in the next couple of weeks." Netanyahu's "moment of truth" would
appear to be attached to his differing view to housing growth in Israel, or termed within the Obama administration as "settlements"
or "settlement expansion." A few days after the anonymous official spoke to Politico, Netanyahu announced
plans for further housing expansion. This raised the ire of the Obama administration, prompting the White House to deliver
a public rebuke. Then White House spokesman Robert Gibbs declared, "We regret the reports of Israel's plans to approve additional settlement
construction. As the President has said before, the United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued settlement expansion
and we urge it to stop." Another US official who remained anonymous stated, "In the end America will be forced to
do what is necessary to bring the Israelis and the Palestinians back to the negotiation table. But the Netanyahu Government
has proven difficult to work with."
Shortly after, on September
20, 2009, the White House announced that Obama would meet with Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas,
on the sideline of the upcoming UN General Assembly, "in an effort to lay the groundwork for renewed negotiations
on Mideast peace." It must be noted that during the months following the Cairo speech and leading up to the UN General Assembly, H1N1,
better known as swine flu, had become a household name, eventually infecting roughly 60-million Americans, multiple major
wild fires charred hundreds of thousands of acres, multiple flooding events struck the middle of the nation and eastern seaboard,
hail storms and tornado outbreaks left swaths of damage, the stock market made wild swings and the dollar continued to lose
value. It was also during this period, on July 13, 2009, as Obama gave a speech on the economy his teleprompter crashed, as
the word economy exited his lips.
In the days leading up
to the 2009 UN General Assembly, I felt that an unforeseeable anomaly would impact the United States of America as well as
events that would eclipse all previous events, events that would be forever remembered as the events that fell the United
States of America, all of which would be connected to her continued meddling, pressure, and cursing of the Apple of YAHWEH's
EYE. The
winds will blow, the earth will shake, and the floods will consume. All not on the ROCK of JESUS CHRIST will be moved and
made to tremble in the fall. Who can stand before the LORD of HOSTS, YAHWEH the KING of kings and the LORD of lords? Who has
seen the signs? Who has heeded the message of the times? At the end of September, days before the tripartite meeting between Obama,
Netanyahu, and Abbas, it was even more apparent that the US was melting in the fires of YAHWEH's judgment. The gods of material,
wealth, and greed continued to crumble and melt before the presence of YAHWEH. By the end of 2009, more than 4 trillion dollars
worth of credit lines were projected to vanish, Americans had lost over 40% of their wealth in just two years, yet the calls
for repentance appeared to fall upon deaf ears. While the wealth was burning, the land was flooding. Historic floods deluged Tennessee,
Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia and Georgia, with Atlanta getting over 20" in just 36 hours. The very system that flooded
Atlanta formed while Obama's envoy George Mitchell was in Israel working out the details of the upcoming meeting on the sidelines
of the UN General Assembly with Obama and Abbas, at the same time pressuring Netanyahu to freeze settlement development as
a good will gesture to the Palestinians.
Despite the judgments upon the nation and administration, the Obama administration,
remained hardened, doubling down in the illusion of peace and safety. Tragically such an illusion when mixed with
the air of haughtiness and moved by the winds of pride, creates an environment primed for destruction. On a personal level
such a fall is devastating, but on a national level, upon an unrepentant people, such a fall can only be defined as the Wrath
of GOD. On
September 22, 2009, President Obama met with Netanyahu and Abbas, saying before reporters, "All of us know this will not be easy, but
we are here today because it is the right thing to do. I look forward to speaking with my colleagues. I'm committed to pressing
ahead in the weeks and months and years to come, because it is absolutely critical that we get this issue resolved. It's not
just critical for the Israelis and Palestinians; it's critical for the world. It is in the interest of the United States.
And we are going to work as hard as necessary to accomplish our goals."
The following day Obama addressed
the UN General Assembly and before the nations he called for an, "...independent Palestinian state with contiguous
territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967." As well as declaring, "I will not waiver in my
pursuit of peace." Addressing Obama's statements to the UN General Assembly, Netanyahu
countered, "The things he said about the occupation are not new. He also said them in Cairo, and in fact that is
the formula adopted by the road map and it does not say we have to go back to the 1967 borders. This is the formula adopted
by governments before the one I head, which did not agree to go back to the 1967 borders." In the days following Obama's
meeting with Netanyahu and Abbas, as well as the UNGA speech, the Dow Jones saw large losses, as well as Obama's first major
natural disaster declaration as an 8.3 magnitude earthquake and tsunami hit the American Samoa on September 29. The following
day a 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia, a place associated with Obama's childhood. On October 1, Obama was quoted as saying, "As I've said
before, we support Iran's right to peaceful nuclear power." This statement was made following his meeting in Geneva
regarding the Iranian nuclear program. On the same day, Olancha, California, began to have a major swarm of earthquakes, an
event that continued throughout the early part of October, the Dow Jones lost 203 points, or 2.1%, and the Station Fire near
L.A., continued to intensify.
A few weeks later, I was
very burdened in my spirit and posted How Long, O LORD? I closed the post with
the following, Father,
is there anything left to be done with her? She is dead, a rotting corpse of stench. Her hands are stained by the countless
innocent she has murdered. She curses the apple of Your eye and beds in the unnatural affections. How much longer Father?
How much longer before Your wrath is poured out? Woe to the United States of America! Your day of destruction comes like the fire within
a furnace. Fanned by the winds of indignation and Holy retribution. Your lands will shake by the hand of the Almighty Yahweh.
It will come upon you in an hour you think not and as the words peace and safety pour from your lips. By the end of November, after
months of extreme pressure from the Obama administration, Netanyahu announced that a construction freeze would be imposed
for new home expansion in the West Bank, calling it "a painful step that will encourage the peace process."
The freeze would last from November 26, 2009, to September 26, 2010. The end of 2009 into the beginning of 2010 brought bitter cold
around the world. From the US to the EU nations, Russia, and China, many areas experienced some of the worst winter conditions
in decades. All of these nations were pushing Israel to freeze housing expansion, which appeared to correlate to the sub-zero
temps and abnormal winter weather. The United States experienced multiple blizzards at the end of 2009 and into the start of 2010. February alone had
three major blizzard events as Washington D.C., and the East Coast came to a halt due to the train of winter storms that smothered
the region for months.
On January 8, 2010, Secretary
of State Hillary Clinton met again with the Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, whom she had met with previously on August
3, 2009. Just as it was with the first visit, another earthquake also followed the second visit. This time a 6.5 struck off
of the California coast. The goal of the January 8th meeting was the same as the August 3rd meeting, to rally behind the establishment of
a Palestinian state within 2-years, with the pre-1967 borders as the basis for the Palestinian state. Clinton said,
"The United States believes that through good-faith negotiations the parties can mutually agree on an outcome which ends
the conflict and reconciles the Palestinian goal of an independent and viable state based on the 1967 borders, with agreed
swaps." Later she noted, "And as Minister Judeh and I discussed earlier, resolving borders resolves settlements,
resolving Jerusalem resolves settlements." The two earthquakes associated with both of these meetings, both
off of the west bank of the US should be clear signs to abandon the pursuit of dividing the land of Israel and Jerusalem.
Yet both signs appeared to go unnoticed by the Obama administration. A few weeks later, Abbas agrees to hold indirect peace talks. At
the same time Washington, D.C., and much of the east coast was being slammed with winter storms. The weeks leading up to the
indirect talks saw much of the east coast under snow with repeated winter storms impacting the region. After heavy pressure from the
US, along with Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, indirect talks were scheduled to begin in early March 2010. President Obama dispatched Vice
President Joe Biden to Israel on March 9, 2009, to announce that indirect talks would begin. Upon Biden's arrival, the Israelis
announced the approval of 1600 housing units in East Jerusalem. President Obama took the announcement as a slap in the face.
It was reported that Biden kept Netanyahu waiting for several hours, before joining him and his wife Sara for dinner at their
home. Upon Biden's arrival he also brought forth a condemnation he was to give by order of President Obama. "I condemn the decision
by the government of Israel to advance planning for new housing units in East Jerusalem." Read the Full Condemnation
Here Shortly after the
condemnation, heavy rains and more flooding along the East Coast dominated the news. New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts
were under a State of Emergency. As preparations for the upcoming indirect talks and later direct talks continued to be formulated, the US experienced
the BP oil disaster and months of uncertainty whether the well could be capped, a fact that is still debated today, massive
tornado outbreaks across the plains and the south including the Yazoo city E-F4 tornado, flooding, and continued volatility
on the stock market.
On August 24, 2010, a few
days before the Israeli settlement freeze turned 9-months old; the US housing report was released. The housing report revealed
some interesting numbers. Sales of previously owned U.S. homes fell dramatically, far more than the 12 percent that was expected
in July, to a record 27.2 percent. This dramatic percentage decline, from June to July, put the existing homes sales at the
lowest pace since levels last seen in May 1995. Also interesting were the names of the various tropical storms and hurricanes that formed
in the months of indirect talks that led up to the direct talks scheduled for September. Alex, "to defend, help," hit on the border of
Mexico and Texas. Alex, like the earthquakes in Baja and British Columbia, appeared to be a warning on our borders, as the
US took steps to facilitate the change of Israeli borders and YAHWEH's vow to defend these borders. Bonnie, "pretty," the name was made popular
by the 1939 movie Gone with the Wind. Bonnie disrupted the BP oil clean up operation. Bonnie set the region on edge. Colin is a
name connected to "people living on property whose ownership is disputed." Colin comes from the Latin name
Columba, which means, "Dove." Columba has five variant forms: Collie, Colly, Colombe, Columbia, and Columbine.
Colin appeared to be a warning to the US (Columbia) to steer clear of the peace (dove) talks, which deals specifically with,
"people living on property whose ownership is disputed." Danielle, which is the female form of the Hebrew name
Daniel, formed on August 21, 2010, the day after the US State Department announcement that "direct talks"
would begin on September 2. Danielle, being that it is the female form of Daniel, means, "Jehovah is my Judge." Earl, "nobleman, warrior,"
took a course that impacted the direct talks on September 2. Though the hurricane did not make a direct impact, the outer
bands of the storm affected weather and surf all along the East Coast during the days leading up to and during the direct
talks held in Washington D.C. I wrote more about these storms and the resumption of the peace talks in the post, Hurricane Earl The
Beginning of the End? Shortly after the
resumption of the direct talks, the talks fell apart, due to the fact the Palestinians refused to negotiate with Netanyahu,
as he did not extend the 10-month settlement freeze that expired at the end of September. The Obama administration attempted, albeit in vain, in the following
months to bring Abbas and Netanyahu back to the negotiation table. Abbas continued to reject further negotiations until Netanyahu
agreed to freeze all settlement expansion. At the end of December, days before the Arab Spring began to turn the Middle East upside
down; Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke at the Brookings Institution's Saban Center for Middle East Policy Seventh
Annual Forum. Here
at this forum, Clinton expounded further on the Obama administration's vision for the future Palestinian State. The United States will not be
a passive participant. We will push the parties to lay out their positions on the core issues without delay and with specificity.
So
even as we engage both sides on the core issues with an eye toward eventually restarting direct negotiations, we will deepen
our support of the Palestinians' state-building efforts. Because we recognize that a Palestinian state achieved through negotiations
is inevitable. We also look at our friends the Palestinians, and we remember the painful history of a people who have never had
a state of their own, and we are renewed in our determination to help them finally realize their legitimate aspirations. The
lack of peace and the occupation that began in 1967 continue to deprive the Palestinian people of dignity and self-determination.
This is unacceptable, and, ultimately, it too is unsustainable. These are just a few of the comments Clinton made at the forum.
I wrote further on her speech in the post The Oracle Has Spoken. Will this be the message President Obama will bring Prime Minister
Netanyahu when he meets with him in March, just days before Passover? Will Obama continue to connect the Iranian nuclear issue
to the "inevitable" creation of a Palestinian State, measuring his willingness to address the Iranian issues
with Israel's willingness to address the Palestinian issue?
I know that this has been
a longer post than normal, please keep in mind it could have been a book. Much has happened to this nation and others as the
attempt to divide the land of Israel has come and gone over the decades. Much has happened to the United States of America
as the Obama administration has sought to divide the land of YAHWEH, the future kingdom of Yeshua HaMashiach. Tragically,
despite all of the events that appear to be connected to such a pursuit, Obama has yet decided to personally take his message
to the soil of haaretz Yisrael and recite his unholy vision of "peace" from the Holy Land.
In closing, I would
like to draw attention to two further points. The time in which Obama is going to Israel bears a great amount of significance. As followers
of Jesus Christ, it is easy to focus only on the glorious victory Jesus Christ obtained in His death and resurrection upon
the cross of Calvary without reflecting upon the betrayal, trial, and tribulation, that Jesus Christ endured, in flesh, before
he declared the words, "It is finished." From the time Jesus Christ rode into Jerusalem on Nisan 10, until
his crucifixion on Passover was a period of great tribulation and trial, one that the LORD JESUS CHRIST bore for the sins
of mankind, willingly taking the cup the FATHER had placed before HIM. During this time JESUS was betrayed, rejected, denied,
beaten, scourged, mocked, spit on, torn, humiliated, and murdered. I find it of great concern that Obama would make a trip
to Israel at a time associated with the greatest betrayal of all time. I can't help but wonder if the LORD has chosen to give
us, the followers of Yeshua HaMashiach a very clear sign that the upcoming trip to Israel will ultimately lead to betrayal
and tribulation. The Anti-Christ embodies such things, the false banner of peace, deceit, and betrayal. In HIS great mercy the LORD always
warns before judgment is rendered, the Old Testament is full of such examples. Rafi Eitan, a former high-ranking Mossad official who
oversaw the capture of Adolf Eichmann in 1960, was also responsible for the handling of Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard, which
led to his being banned from the United States. From 2006 to 2009, he was a minister under former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Eitan is a well-known name in Israel, and he has called on Netanyahu to bring a diplomatic proposal of his own before Obama
arrives in Israel: unilateral disengagement from the West Bank. Rafi Eitan was former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's advisor and
helped Sharon in drafting such a plan before Sharon had his stroke in 2006. Biblically speaking, the LORD has used voices, typically prophets,
to bring a message to the leadership of Israel. I am not saying Eitan is a prophet, but what he has to say about Sharon and
the proposal he is recommending Netanyahu make does in fact appear to be a signature prophetic warning. Keep in mind, the plan that Eitan
was helping Sharon form took place 4-months after the Gaza disengagement and Hurricane Katrina, and just one month before
Sharon's tragic stroke that has left him locked in a vegetative coma to this day. In a plan called "the mosaic separation,"
Eitan revealed some of the conversation he had with Sharon a month before his stroke, " Arik [Sharon] said: Let's
divide Judea and Samaria and take roughly one-third for ourselves, leaving two-thirds for the Arabs. Under this plan, the
Jordan Valley and the Judean Desert would remain ours." Let us keep a close eye on the upcoming presidential visit to Israel,
a close ear to the message being proclaimed, and more importantly, a close walk with Yeshua HaMashiach as the days ahead of
HIS return are certain to bring fear and trembling. God Bless, daniel
