Who is Safe from Judgment?

| tue, march 17, 2009 |

As I was studying the Word of God this morning I came across Isaiah 33. I began to read and by the time I had finished I wrote down the following scriptures and various supporting scriptures. All that follows is from the Word of God:

1 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, from the terror of the LORD, and for the Glory of His majesty, when He arises to make the earth tremble.

2 Now will I rise, shaith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

3 None call for justice, nor any pleads for truth: they trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.

4 When lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

5 The people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

6 Hear, you that are far off what I have done; and, you that are near, acknowledge my might.

7 Behold, the name of the LORD comes from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue is a devouring fire.

8 And the LORD shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the descent down of His anger, and with the flame of devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

9 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?
Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burning?

10
He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; He that despises the gain of oppressions, that shakes his hand from holding bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil.

11
LORD who shall abide in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Your holy hill? He that walks uprightly and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor receives a reproach against his neighbor. In whose eyes a vile person is despised; but he honors those that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not. He that puts not out his money with interest, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

12
He shall dwell on high! His place shall be the fortress of rocks; bread shall be given him; his water shall be sure.

In the coming days the all consuming fire of the LORD will reign down upon the iniquities of a prideful generation of men and women who have pursued the lusts of self instead of the righteousness of the Almighty God. ONLY those who understand the judgment as a time to repent and those who sought the wing of the LORD before the judgment fell will be spared from the evil in the days ahead. The LORD is faithful to those who have placed HIM in control. Take comfort in knowing the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is a merciful and just GOD to all who call upon HIS name and turn from their previously wicked ways. Don't let doubt be the reason for your blindness, let faith in Jesus Christ open your eyes to the truth of the coming days.

God Bless, daniel
