I began my typical evening wind down last night, which will usually consists of 2 Oreos, a glass of milk, and me removing myself from everything to spend some time with the Lord. I will eat the Oreos and drink the milk after I have spent my time with the Lord, don’t ask me why, I guess I really enjoy Oreos and milk before bedtime, but what I enjoy even more is to retreat to my quiet place where I know I will be able to spend time one on one with the Heavenly Father, the absolute perfect way to finish the day.

Every night is different in some way, not drastically, but subtly, almost capable of being missed if I am not truly focused, or if my mind is wondering and not listening for the Lord’s small still voice. 

Maybe it’s just me, but I have found that the hardest part of prayer is patiently waiting on the Lord to reply.  I am not very patient by nature, or at least I don’t feel that I am most of the time, but it becomes an especially difficult struggle during prayer.

Patience is one of the many fruits of the Spirit, to find the other fruits look in Galatians 5:22-23. So since this is a Godly characteristic, it seems even harder to properly grasp. So when the right moment for me to exercise this gift does present itself, it inevitably eludes me. I will say that I have been slowly, key word, slowly getting better at patience and for this I must thank the Lord.

So last night as I began to shut the light off to the spare bedroom where I spend my time with the Lord (and practice patience) when I suddenly felt compelled to open my Bible.  The first verse my eyes caught was 1 Corinthians 16:13:

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

I continued to read the next verse,

Let all your things be done with charity.

Both of these verses immediately began churning in my mind, as I fell asleep and even into
today.  So I sat down and looked into these verses a little deeper just to see what they might mean.

In verse 13 What ye or grā-go-re'-ō in Greek means to pay strict attention, be cautious, to take heed lest through remission (decrease) and indolence (slothfulness) some destructive calamity suddenly overtake one (you).

I began to further break down 1 Corinthians 16:13, taking the original meaning from the Greek, it looks something like this:

Γρηγορεῖτε στήκετε ἐν τῇ πίστει ἀνδρίζεσθε κραταιοῦσθε

Grēgoreō       stēkō       en       pistis    andrizomai    krataioō

Then I rewrote in English what the original Greek means in expanded form and added verse 14 to the end, it reads like this:

Pay strict attention, be cautious and take heed, lest through remission and indolence some destructive calamity suddenly overtake you. Stand firm, preserve, persist, and keep your standing in the conviction of the truth and belief that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, through whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of God. Be you confident in God and in Christ, let your faith spring trust and holy fervor that is born only in the relationship with God and having been joined within Him whom you rely. Be brave and become a man, increase in your strength, grow, and be made strong. 14 Let all your things be done with charity (love).

As I finished the message became very clear.  Here was the small still voice in the midst of the chaos, whispering peace to my soul that I was patiently waiting for, and as usual God presented it when the time was just right.

Through this verse in 1 Corinthians 16:13,14 the Lord is reminding you and I to always be on guard, to stand firm in Jesus Christ. Reminding us that through His Son we can become braver and stronger than ever imagined, and through our faith in Him we are spiritually prepared for any calamity.  When we stand strong residing and trusting in the Lord’s divine protection we are capable of victory no matter the onslaught of destruction. This is especially true when compared to the individual who as gone into remission, becoming indolent, foolishly having rejected the Lord and His divine protection, hopelessly left to suffer the consequences of avoidable destruction, spiritually and physically.

Everyday Satan will in most cases successfully use various things or situation to instill fear, worry, and hopelessness into the hearts and souls of anyone who will allow him to. The best way to defend ourselves from Satan's attacks comes only in holding close the promises of the Lord that we find not only in 1 Corinthians 16:13,14 but all throughout our Heavenly Father's infallible Word. We must remember the Lord is always there for those who call out His name, we were not created to be without the Creator, only when we stop denying our inability to survive by our own flesh can we allow our eyes to be opened to the new spiritual body the Creator has created for all who will accept salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Matthew 6:33

Praise the Lord!  I have found my strength and victory in my Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be unto His Heavenly Name for all eternity! 

 

As I write this I am encouraged to remember one thing we should never forget: Not once in history has God ever been out of control. As I ponder on this thought I am enveloped by the peace of my Father, comforted by His strength, and desire to eternally reside in His presence.

 

As I reflect upon my own life, 20x20 hindsight reveals the statement above to be true.  Even in my most deviant episodes were self-control was non-existent, my Father was still in control. My Father protected me, saved me from myself, and placed within my path my opportunity for salvation, the ultimate glorification of His name. His plan for my life was always in motion, only now can I look back upon my history and see His divine hand at work, guiding, directing, protecting, and planning.

 

I am just an example of the plan and the purpose the Heavenly Father has for all of His children.  He loves us as we love our own children, or at least how we should strive to love our children. He desires a personal, loving, and intimate relationship with all of His children. He loves us so much He sent His own Son to die on a cross, to be beaten, torn, and rejected by His own people, all because He so loved the world. He didn’t send His Son because He wanted to save the physical world, but rather to save the spiritual world of His children.

 

So many people right now are destroyed in spirit, struggling, dying within, and feeling left without any options.

 

Please hear this, we are never left without any options as long as there is breathe in our flesh, life within our bones, and a desire to find the true joy our spiritual bodies crave in earnest to devour. Never will we be left without an option as long as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is reigning upon the Almighty throne and we are alive to acknowledge His gift and accept the purpose behind His Son’s death. HE has established the Salvation of the world through His Son, the Lily of the Valley, the Cornerstone of our Faith, the Redeemer, the Alpha, and Omega.

 

I am here to proclaim the Truth is not dead, the Truth still reigns supreme, and the Truth will forever dwell in Glory for all Eternity.  All of the evil powers and principalities of this world could never keep the Truth from a heart that calls upon the name of Christ. No one, nowhere, is without hope, No one.

 

Every second that falls off the clock, every minute, every day is just one last before the gates of eternity are opened to all mankind, minion, and angel alike. Don’t wait until you stand before the white throne of judgment to be persuaded to believe in Christ and what He has done to guarantee salvation for all who will believe.  Believe now, seek the Heart of the Lord, repent and find your Joy.

 

Will you eternally dwell with the Father in Glory, or spend eternity wailing and gnashing your teeth?

 

Free Yourself!

 

No one can carry the burdens this world so readily throws upon our backs; we were not created to carry such burdens.  God desires to lift these burdens and free us from our bondage if only we will allow Him to do so. Take control with the Lord, He has always been in control even if you aren’t.  You will never have control without His hand to direct your path.

 

Joy, Peace, Comfort, Happiness, the true forms of these can only be found in the eternal arms of the Almighty Heavenly Father. Don’t buy into the incomparable fakes man tries to sale as the genuine form, when you experience the real form, no other form can even compare..

I must say, a furious battle is being waged. The forces of the Almighty are locked in arms with the forces of Satan.  This battle will ultimately lead to the final battleground, but before I continue, this battle has been being waged since before the fall of man.

 

I must remind you, I am only a man, and what I have to say is my own opinion, my own thoughts, though I only share them because I feel a yearning to.  I am man, so by default you may see me as wrong until I am proven otherwise. 

 

I am going to start by urging everyone to pray for our nation and her people, the children of Israel, and our fellow brothers and sisters of the world like we have never in our lives prayed for before.  I cannot, though vainly in my struggle I have attempted, to put into words the feelings that burn within my spirit. My spirit feels like a wild fire exponentially growing in intensity, and the brush ahead of this wind-stoked firestorm is only getting dryer.

 

Daily as I come before the Lord I am consumed by a very real sense of urgency.  This feeling is all together very indescribable, but one that is no doubt real and intensely urgent. Feeling this urgency and the lack of true understanding to its purpose, I pray the Lord would give me better understand, I seek only His guidance and direction. I pray that the Lord would better help me understand the day in which we live, the events that consume our daily lives, and how to prepare myself and others for the answer I know He will give.

 

I pray that what I am about to say is wrong, that maybe I have only caught myself up in my own underlying fears.

 

America will burn. America will be cut from her very foundation. America will no longer lead the world, but because the world has led her, she has lost her first love.  America has been told to repent, told to turn from her wicked ways, chastised by the very Spirit of the Almighty God, but with no reproach, with no remorse she has continued on her wicked path.

 

All consuming fire, fire that burns all in it’s path, fire that knows no bounds, no fatigue, no guilt.  America has chosen her fate, decided her destruction, and no longer dwells by her own accord within the refuge of the Lord.

 

The furnace of vengeance is being fueled by America’s unrelenting greed, by the ungrateful profit of the fat years, and by the lies of hardened hearts in the now lean years. 

Her wealth is gone, her majesty is gone, her power a mere mirage, soon to be discovered by the very enemies she helped to create.

 

She has placed herself higher than the Almighty, in her misguided pride she will fall. She has decided who will live, and who will die, who is worthy and who is not.  By her own methods she too will be judged. 

 

She has protested the religious freedom her very fore fathers died to defend. Forgetting it was the Almighty God of Israel these me fought so valiantly even unto death to defend. She has replaced her God with the golden calf of money, the same money that will ultimately pay for her death.

 

How long can she continue to slap the face of the Lord, Who in His graciousness brought her such great wealth, prestige, and honor.  The very Lord Who protected her when she herself could not, Who fed her when she herself could not, and Who loved her even when she returned it not.  

 

She has been warned.  She has a price, a price that can only be covered by the Blood of Christ. When this Blood is rejected, the rejection damns the souls of those who fail to accept. We are damned by our sin, America is damned by her sin, the only hope is that which is found in the Lord Jesus Christ. Only HE can take away our sin, ONLY HE can wash away the sin of America.

 

This message is strong, unaccepted by most, few will see, and few will understand. Those bought by the blood have a purpose; we have an obligation to point others unto the Light, the Light that no darkness can quench.  Sometimes the messages are tough, but even tougher when we decide not to share the message placed within our hearts.

 

America will pay for her transgressions, all men do, and all will ultimately see the glory of the Lord. Only some will be prepared, while others will forever regret the rejection from their lips.

 

America please repent, turn now, and seek the face of the Lord. This is the very message played over and over to her soul for decades. She can claim no ignorance to her sin, only blinded more and more by her hardened heart and reprobate mind.

 

The Lord has never left her; she herself chose to be freed from the mercy of the Lord.

What comes upon a Nation who walks alone in the valley of the shadow of death, can only lead to destruction.
